ARON, KATJA i JAN.

GENERATION III

Three young people cross paths.

Jan, originating from a small village in eastern Poland, about to baptise his firstborn. Katja, daughter of a german journalist. And Aron, a New Yorker, grandchild of a Holocaust survivor.

What connects them: they're all the 3rd generation following the WWII. When Katja's granddad passes away, her mother Lisa, inherits his old documents dating back to WWII.

They hold details about events no one ever spoke about.

On one of the many pictures you can see Aron's grandfather and the place where it took place, small village in Poland where Jan lives with his family.

Lisa intends to publicise the documents and begins her research. Coincidence leads her to contact with Aron and his grandfather.

The small village in Poland is where all characters meet, where the story climaxes.

Jan and his neighbours want to establish a stone tablet in their town, a monument to the horrific events that took place during the war.

But they are met with resistance from the others, who want to these memories to fade and become forgotten.
